Christi Holmes and Asher Anderson joined Gorrill Palmer in the Land Development Group of the firm.
Christi serves as a Design Engineer for Gorrill Palmer. She graduated from the University of Maine in 2010 where she was a founding member of the student chapter of Engineers without Borders. Christi is trained in OSHA’s 40-hour HAZWOPER program and recently served as the keynote speaker for the Society of Women Engineers annual luncheon at UMaine. Prior to joining Gorrill Palmer, Christi worked with C.E.S., Inc. in Machias, Maine where she served as Branch Head Engineer, Branch Safety Officer and member of the firm’s Wellness Committee. Christi interned with the U.S. Public Health Service in Seattle, WA and Sacramento, CA where she implemented green practices for the National Park Service in Mount Rainier and North Cascades National Parks. Christi is a LEED® Accredited Green Associate.
Asher joins Gorrill Palmer as a Construction Inspector. He graduated from Central Maine Community College in 2011 and holds Certifications in OSHA’s 30-Hour Construction Safety program and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection’s Basic and Advanced Erosion and Sediment Control program. Asher is joining Gorrill Palmer from Sunday River Skiway where he managed the resorts potable water system and contributed to the design of additions and updates to the system to accommodate the growing resort. Prior to his position with Sunday River, Asher worked with Walsh Engineers in Westbrook, Maine where he held the position as a Construction Inspector and Tighe and Bond Consulting where he most notably served as Construction Inspector for the City of Chicopee Sewer Separation and Water Infrastructure Improvements in Massachusetts.
The addition of these two employees to our Land Development Group greatly increases our capacity to serve our clients and expand our highly qualified team of professionals.
